Needs Analysis:	When you come to the ABC Writing Academy to study, we first conduct a needs analysis to determine exactly why you plan to study. This helps us to make sure we select the most appropriate course and material to match your goals.
Appraisals:	Before every course, we conduct a thorough diagnostic appraisal of your writing - free of charge. This allows us to ascertain your current level and any specific development areas that you have. A similar appraisal is conducted at the end of your course to show how your goals have been met or to outline any remaining areas that need to be addressed.
Action Plan:	Once we know your goal, your current level and your development areas, we can formulate an action plan to map out how we can help you achieve your goals and how long it will take.
Courses:	No two students have the same goals and development areas and so at the ABC Writing Academy, we avoid teaching generic courses. Private students receive 100% tailored and highly organic coaching while corporate groups benefit from customised courses that reflect both the company’s goals and the students’ needs.
Workshops and Seminars:	Companies with a large number of employees may prefer to take the option of workshops or seminars for their staff. Rather than having employees study diagnosed weaknesses periodically over an extended period, a company may choose to have us hone more generic skills during a half-day or full day workshop. Alternately, 1 to 5-day seminars can be arranged, covering a wide spectrum of business writing proficiency levels and media, from e-mails to reports, sales proposals and more. Both business writing workshops and seminars are available in and around Bangkok and are suitable for up to 12 participants.
Evaluating Progress:	You will take a pre-course and a post-course writing assignment to help you gauge your progress and goal achievement. In addition, our courses have regular checks built in to them so that we can monitor your assimilation and make adjustments to the course if necessary.
Counselling:	You will receive regular counselling throughout your course on your development areas, your needs, your progress and your goal achievement.
Venues:	Classes are available in-school at the ABC Writing Academy in the United Center on Silom Road, or we can provide out-service classes at your company to minimise the amount of time your staff are away from their jobs (travel charges apply).
Class Sizes:	We specialise in private coaching, but we also offer small, charter group study (2 - 8 students). This allows us to provide highly customised courses that focus precisely on the students’ language needs and development areas. Workshops and seminars can accommodate up to 12 students.
Lesson Length:	Our lessons are 45 minutes long, including a 5-minute break. The minimum number of lessons per visit is 2 for in-school classes and 3 for out-services. The lengths of the workshop and seminar vary.
Course Length:	Course, workshop and seminar lengths vary, dependent on your individual goals, development areas and action plan.
